The last day trip of the semester, the last day trip of this year! As a closure of the semester we will go abroad to our neigbours down south: Belgium. The city of Ghent is the second largest city in Belgium and also one of the oldest. Furthermore, the city of Ghent (then still part of the Netherlands) has played an essential role in Dutch history during the 80 year war between the Netherlands and Spain and the Dutch independence accordingly.

We will start our day in front of the Victoria Hotel at Damrak 1-5 from which our bus will depart to Ghent. After arriving we will enjoy a boat tour through the scenic canals in the city’s center. After we get off the boat we will enjoy lunch together after which everyone will enjoy some free time to explore the city yourselves. At the end of the afternoon the bus will take us back to Amsterdam where we will arrive around 21.00 (9 PM).

A ticket for this day trip includes transport, lunch and the boat tour and can be bought both in the ISN-office as well as online.
